Self Portrait

This project is a collage that was created using mixed media. I used pieces of magazines and newspaper to create value and texture for my self portrait based on an image I had taken. The different ways I cut the magazine pieces helped to emphasize the texture and dimension of the image. The background was created using blue and white text to differentiate between the gray and black of the self portrait part.
