Italian Tree

This project uses an image that I took in Italy and combines it with relief etching. I used a four by six inch acrylic sheet and scratched a design into it. Then the ink was flooded over the sheet and then using a piece of tarlatan was wiped clean leaving only the scratch lines filled with ink. I created four prints of the same image applying different weights of pressure on each to see if they came out with more or less detail.
